Yoshima Farm is a small family-owned farm in Hida Takayama. By growing
chemical-free organic vegetables and preserved foods, we contribute to
environmental protection and ensure the health and safety of the people
who consume our products.
Agricultural crops are full of nature’s blessings and power. The food we
eat directly affects our minds and bodies. We aim to provide agriculture
which unites mother nature, farmers and those who consume our products.
Yasunori Yoshima
Yasunori was born in 1974 as the eldest son of a small-scale farming family.
He grew up watching his grandfather grow vegetables organically, and this
became his motivation to begin farming.
After graduating from his university with an agricultural degree, he came to believe that “the most important thing in agriculture is not just learning theories but putting them into practice” and that “all answers for research are found in nature.
” With this mindset, he enthusiastically dedicated his life to farming.
He says the times when he is working with vegetables knee-deep in mud are
the happiest times of his life.
Yoshima Farm’s processing factory is a HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical
Control Point) accredited facility.
All products are manufactured in accordance with procedures which meet international standards of hygiene management.
